The default “From” email address for feedback requests sent using RocketReviews is feedback@reviewability.com and this can not be changed. Doing it any other way would be considered spoofing and drastically decrease deliverability due to anti-spam measures that are in place across the web.

However, you can change the “Reply To” email address. Depending on the email client, the inbox appearance of your feedback request will vary.

When a customer opens a feedback request using Gmail or Mail on an Apple iPhone the “From” email address is not shown.
Opening a request in Mail on a desktop shows the “Reply To” email address.
When using Gmail on a desktop, the preview shows the “From” email address for opened requests.

To update the “Reply To” email address for review requests, follow these steps.

  1. Log in to your RocketReviews account.
  2. If you have multiple locations, select the location you would like to update the “Reply To” email address for from the Business Dashboard.
  3. From the menu, go to Settings > Feedback Settings and enter the email address you wish to use for the Reply-To email address under Feedback Request Sender Email (From):. Click Update.

If you are using a “Firewall”, “Microsoft Exchange Server” or if you are accessing the internet via a company network you may need to white-list emails from RocketReviews.
